Spend a lot of time strapped to your computer? The DS 4.5’s were designed as one of the first desk-top high-end speaker systems.

The exotic real-wood veneered cabinets and curves match the Peachtree Audio integrated amps and help retain your desk-tops elegant look. The sound is much larger than the size would indicate and optimized for a close listening environment. While the new DS 4.5 speakers are Peachtree Audio’s first speakers, they come from a long speaker pedigree. The drivers, designed by world famous Michael Kelly of Aerial Acoustics make-up the heart of the DS 4.5. The long throw 4" woofer makes extreme bass for the size and the silk-dome tweeter is smooth and musical, making them perfect for digital music.

You now have a choice between plastic anemic computer speakers, or the DS4.5. We believe that if you have to be strapped to a computer, you at least be able to enjoy the experience.

To complete the system, use a Peachtree Audio integrated amplifier. They have a USB input (among others) allowing a “pure digital" transfer from your computer to the onboard DAC turning it into a high-end music server.

The Nova/ds 4.5 combo works great for a bedroom or den although its primary design was for those strapped to their computer for hours at a time who want to create a high performance audio system.
