Comments about Niles PS6SI Concrete (Ea.) Stereo Input Planter Speaker:
These speakers sound great! I was looking for a pair of outdoor speakers to bring music to a deck. The initial motivation for considering the planter speaker was the avoidance of modifications to siding during the installation of wall-mounted speakers. Before purchasing, I found a review which claimed the proximity to the floor or deck and the down-firing woofer improved the projection of bass. Decided to give these a try. After listening for a week to the PS6Si, I am very impressed. Turns out that not only is the bass response great for an outdoor speaker, but also the floor level location brings the tweeters much more on level with the ears of a seated listener than speakers mounted high on a wall. My wife loves the sound and the seemless manner in which the speakers blend with the decor. Highly recommended.
